It is also used in the synthesis of pesticide herbicides bromoxynil and hydrochlorohydrin, as well as in the production of bactericide, photographic emulsifier, nickel plating luster agent, liquid crystal, etc.; in the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used to synthesize amoxicillin (amoxicillin), antibacterial synergist trimethoprim (TMP), 3,4,4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 5-trimethoxybenzaldehyde, p-hydroxyglycine, amoxicillin, artificial Gastrodia elata, Rhododendron, esmolol, etc.; in the perfume industry, it is used to synthesize vanillin, ethyl vanillin, jasmonal, butyraldehyde, anisaldehyde and fupenone.
