Because of the activity of phosphorus chlorine bond, chlorine can be easily replaced to form a series of phosphazene derivatives with special properties. It is the intermediate raw material for synthesis of various halogen-free flame retardants and high temperature resistant materials, such as preparation of phenoxyphosphazene, p-carboxylphenoxyphosphazene, polyaminophosphazene, alkoxyphosphazene and other flame retardants, polyphosphazene elastomer materials, etc. For this reason, a series of phosphazene compounds can be prepared.

Application:

Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene is a high consumption chlorine product. It can be used as insecticide, fertilizer, anti-tumor drug, phase transfer catalyst, free radical polymerization initiator, light stabilizer, antioxidant, flame retardant, etc. It can also be used in catalytic materials, high temperature resistant rubber, flame retardant materials, polymer electrolytes, photoconductive polymer materials, nonlinear optical materials, biomedical polymer materials, polymer liquid crystals, separation membranes, medicine, military industry, etc. Due to the unique properties and high added value of polyphosphazenes, the synthesis and application of polyphosphazenes are still a research hotspot, which requires further research and development of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazenes and polyphosphazenes.
