Hazard characteristics: its vapor and air can form explosive mixture, which is easy to burn and explode in case of open fire and high heat. It reacts violently with oxidant. It is easy to self polymerize, and the polymerization reaction increases rapidly with the increase of temperature. Its vapor is heavier than air, it can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place, and it will catch fire and burn back in case of fire source. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container will increase, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
Fire fighting method: Firefighters must wear gas masks and full body fire fighting suits to put out the fire in the upwind direction. Move the container from the fire site to the open area as far as possible. Spray water to keep the containers cool until the fire is over.
